The Spanish American Club will sponsor the 18th annual Spanish American Festival of Keyport on Saturday, August 12, 2017. The festival will be held from noon to 7:30 p.m. at the waterfront’s beachfront park in Keyport, corner of Broad and First streets.
The purpose of the Spanish American Festival of Keyport is to bring people of all backgrounds together to celebrate the richness of Latino culture.
“The best kept secret in Keyport is our Latin American community, humble, proud and caring. Always ready to give to community, family and neighbors, they are seldom greedy or boastful, but always ready to be a good neighbor,” said Keyport Councilman Isaiah Cooper.
Entertainment will include music by Swing Sabroso, The Atomic Band, DJ Cuqui “La Comai”, ethnic foods, children’s games, and much more
According to organizers, the mission of the Spanish American Club of Keyport is to promote and support the advancement of Latinos in the Bayshore communities and to herald their achievements.
